Every available IDF Carburettor is supplied with 8mm fuel connections. This is perfect if you are planning to use an electric fuel pump with all the consequences attached to it, like installing a safety relay as well as changing the fuel lines from the outlet of the gas tank through the tunnel all the way to your carbs to 8mm. The short cut – just adapting the lines after the tunnel – comes at the cost of more adapters and thus higher risk of leakage and worst-case – fire. 

Fritz Fahrkraft now offers a solution for moderately tuned engines – 6mm fuel inlets for IDF carburettors. Change your 8mm inlets to 6mm and continue to use your mechanical fuel pump as well as the original lines. Fritz Fahrkraft’s own IDF carburettors come factory fitted with either 8mm or 6mm fuel inlets by the customer’s choice.
