Bay Window Accelerator Pedal Linkage
Adjustable Bay Window accelerator pedal mechanism
Bay Window Accelerator Pedal Mechanism.
Adjustable.
Accelerator linkage for Bay Window buses with variable throttle cable adjustment and play-free control.
This newly developed mechanism eliminates any play in your accelerator pedal. The use of fully encapsulated quality ball bearings and sealed joint heads creates a completely new pedal feel. The lifetime lubrication of the bearings, combined with the wear-free construction, ensures unlimited driving fun.
Moreover, only this mechanism, with its intelligent design, features a seamlessly variable ratio between the accelerator pedal and the throttle cable, thus effectively preventing play in the throttle valve bearings. This is because the original pedal travel rarely corresponds exactly to the installed carburetor, throttle cable, or the throttle linkage for the installed dual carburetors. The variable ratio now allows the existing pedal travel to be easily translated so that the throttle valve(s) are at full throttle exactly when the pedal reaches the floorboard. Not before and not after.
Worn-out throttle valve bearings caused by over-extension and power loss due to inadequate throttle cable movement are now obsolete.
- Simple installation with no body modifications required
- Noticeably enhances pedal feel, even in stock vehicles
- Allows you to give exact full throttle without risking damage to the carburetors or wasting performance
- CNC milled from steel, black zinc coated and passivated for ultimate longevity
- Weight balance and bearing structure render an added spring redundant
- High-tensile and anti-corrosive mounting components as used throughout the automotive industry
- Fits Bay Window Bus
- Eliminates play
- Freely adjustable idle and full throttle position
- Prevents wear of throttle valve shaft bearings

Vacuum ports for the popular IDF carburetor series.
Using vacuum gauges, these ports enable quick and precise synchronization of dual carburetor systems. Furthermore, they provide the necessary vacuum signal for programmable electronic distributors, such as 123 Ignition.
These ports can be retrofitted to existing systems by removing the original blanking plugs and installing the vacuum ports in their place. After synchronization, the original blanking plug is screwed into the vacuum port, sealing it when not in use.
These ports are a standard feature on all our Fritz Fahrkraft IDF carburettors.
A must-have if you want the synchronization of your dual carburetor system to be quick, easy, and flawless from now on.
The turned brass parts have an overall length of 16 mm and are equipped with M4 internal and external threads. The shank has a diameter of 5 mm and protrudes 11 mm from the housing.
Suitable for Weber IDF and comparable carburetors.
Includes a set of 4 vacuum ports.
For permanent installation in the carburetor, the vacuum ports should be secured using a high-temperature threadlocker.
